Your first time is NOT supposed to hurt
You are NOT supposed to bleed
If you bleed, that is NOT your hymen being ‘popped’, it is a tear due to lack of sexual arousal and natural lubrication.
This is all a MYTH perpetrated by men so they don’t have to make sure you are comfortable and sufficiently aroused enough before you have sex with them. It is an excuse to disregard and hurt you.
I just really want women to know this.
Woh. Heads up ladies.
Apparently blue ivy is ugly
Because she’s nappy but north is cute because she’s “mixed” and has straight hair (we don’t know that yet she’s still a little under a year I think and Blue is 2 I think)
Y’all kill me. And how is this not anti blackness ? Just how?
It’s goes deeper than just celebrity kids but beyond to how black children are only looked at as cute when they are mixed. Tumblr engages in this as well when users constantly reblog babies with “neat curl patterns” and lite eyes. Sometimes even the adage that mixed babies are always so cute. What makes them so? Their being part something else, black babies can’t be unless they’re mixed. That seems to be the running logic here. So it’s bigger than blue and north.
I agree with the bolded, which is why I rarely post pics of light skinned women and children. This type of thinking needs to change.
Do you mean European standard or white standard? I've been told those aren't the same because Europe has never been all white like white people want people want to believe.
The European Standard of beauty is not a standard based on a representation of people who are European, but rather the standard that European people decide is beautiful. You can be black or asian or white and have a European standard of beauty.
the European standard of beauty was spread through colonialism. so even when Europeans were spreading their hate and bigotry and enforcing what they thought was beautiful (i.e. white skin, blue eyes), Europe still wasn’t a homogenous society. there were black people and arab people and asian people in Europe, but European imperialists carried with them the standard, not the representation of Europe
